Twenty-one appointments made to city boards and commissions

COMMERCE CITY, COLO. – City Council unanimously approved the appointment and reappointment of 21 community leaders to various Commerce City boards and commissions. The appointments were a result of an application and interview process conducted by city council members in December 2011 and January 2012.

“Serving on municipal boards and commissions is a great way to get more involved in the community,” said Mayor Sean Ford. “My council colleagues and I are looking forward to working with these individuals to build a Quality Community for a Lifetime.”

The following citizens were appointed to serve beginning Feb. 1, 2012 until the expiration of the term of their appointment, or until a successor is appointed:
