The City of Commerce City observes two holidays in November, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving, which, unfortunately for Tom Turkey, is quickly approaching. There are also two holidays in December. Here's a look at which city services will be affected:· Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25: Civic Center, Municipal Services Center and Recreation Center are closed. Remaining open will be the Bison Grill and Buffalo Run Golf Course, weather permitting.
· Day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 26: Civic Center, Municipal Services Center and administrative offices of Parks and Recreation Department will be closed. Remaining open will be the Recreation Center, Buffalo Run Golf Course and the Bison Grill.
· Christmas Eve, Friday, Dec. 24: Civic Center and Municipal Services Center closed, Recreation Center closes at 1 p.m. Remaining open will be the Bison Grill and Buffalo Run Golf Course, weather permitting.
· Christmas Day, Saturday, Dec. 25: Recreation Center and all city offices closed.
· New Year's Eve, Friday, Dec. 31: Civic Center and Municipal Services Center closed. Recreation Center closes at 1 p.m. Remaining open will be the Bison Grill and Buffalo Run Golf Course, weather permitting.
