A discussion is planned for Monday's Commerce City Council meeting regarding City Council's recommendation for the naming of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center. It has been reported that the proposed name would be something like the "Patricia S. Schroeder Visitor Center". City Council at their Monday, March 28, 2011 Council meeting requested staff to add this as a discussion item for the April 4, 2011 meeting. According to the Gateway News Opinion Blog the question has come up regarding the idea of getting money for Tower Road in return for supporting the "Patricia S. Schroeder Visitor Center" naming idea.
