Gov. Bill Ritter has ordered flags to be lowered to half staff on all state and federal buildings Wednesday, Nov. 17, in honor of two fallen Army soldiers: Sgt. Aaron B. Cruttenden, 25, and Spc. Dale J. Kridlo, 33.Sgt. Cruttenden and Spc. Kridlo were killed in action Nov. 7 when their dismounted patrol encountered small arms fire while in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
A funeral service for Sgt. Cruttenden will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hotchkiss Community United Methodist Church in Hotchkiss.
